Our History
Founded in Chicago in 1988 by Randolph Frieser, PT, President, Accelerated has grown to over 170 outpatient rehabilitation centers in 6 states across the U.S.—Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Arizona, and Georgia. We operate primarily as Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, but are also proud to have as affiliates: OccuSport Physical Therapy, PRORehab p.c., Therapy Services of Iowa, Gary Gray Physical Therapy, and Eastern Iowa Therapeutics.
Accelerated offers a wide range of programs and specialized services to help our patients restore and maintain their strength, motor skills, and function. Along with our emphasis on orthopedic, sports, and industrial rehabilitation, we specialize in hand therapy, spine rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and women’s health. In addition, Accelerated offers home health as well as rehabilitation services in long-term care facilities.

We also provide physical therapy and athletic training services to colleges, universities, high schools, and club sports teams.
