Our History
Founded in Chicago in 1989 by Randolph Frieser, PT, President, Accelerated has grown to over 200 outpatient rehabilitation centers in 8 states across the U.S.—Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin and Arizona. We operate primarily as Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, but are also proud to have as affiliates: Eastern Iowa Therapeutics, Gary Gray Physical Therapy, PRORehab p.c., and Sports Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists.
Accelerated offers a wide range of programs and specialized services to help our patients restore and maintain their strength, motor skills, and function. Along with our emphasis on orthopedic, sports, and industrial rehabilitation, we specialize in hand therapy, spine rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and women’s health. In addition, Accelerated offers home health as well as rehabilitation services in long-term care facilities.
Accelerated, who has the privileged opportunity to work with a variety of patients, is the choice for the nation’s top professional athletes, largest employers, and busy professionals. We also provide physical therapy and athletic training services to colleges, universities, high schools, and club sports teams.
