pediatric rehabilitation
At several northern Illinois centers, Accelerated is proud to now offer pediatric rehabilitation for children with physical and speech limitations. Our physical, occupational and speech therapists are highly trained and utilize a diverse mixture of treatment techniques to restore and improve function in your child. We use an integrated, team approach to therapy that maximizes our extensive and collective knowledge. You might say we have a better "toolbox" right from the start. This leads to dynamic treatment sessions and, ultimately, creates more opportunities for success.
Our child-centered approach to therapy gives children holistic, individualized treatment. Using integrated clinical techniques, our staff facilitates each child¹s independence in a natural and playful environment. A child¹s occupation of self-discovery and play becomes a platform for ongoing treatment, and ultimate success
Beyond our commitment to developing the whole child, we are equally committed to serving the diverse needs of parents, families and caregivers. Our therapists coordinate treatment in the clinic, home, school, day care and other recreational settings. Home Programs are developed for families and caregivers as well. They serve as pathways toward ongoing education, shared goals, and total wellness. In addition to internal resources, partnerships with organizations and professionals in the community, we provide adults with a network of support to meet their own needs and the needs of their family.
