Post-Offer Employment Screening

Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers’ physical therapists work closely with employers to determine if potential employees are physically able to perform the requirements of the job for which they have applied. (The physical demands of the job are determined through a detailed job analysis.) The screening also identifies potential ergonomic risk factors that may lead to future injuries. This information allows the employer to place candidates in the most physically appropriate job while minimizing the potential for injury.

Post-offer screening provides an opportunity to serve both the employers and the employees through injury prevention. In fact, employers who use programs that include services such as post-offer screenings report a 50 to 70 percent reduction in work-related injury costs*.

The screenings are conducted in accordance with hiring and non-discrimination laws (Americans with Disabilities Act).
