On-Site Work Hardening
The injured worker will follow a program specially designed by the therapist at the job-site to prepare the employee to return-to-work by building strength and endurance with a graded progression of work tasks. Treatment will consist of proper body mechanic instruction, stretching, strengthening, cardiovascular conditioning, work pacing and problem solving methods for symptom control.
Features:
- Implements Reversal-of-Posture exercises to reduce fatigue and improve productivity
- Provides employee with pain coping strategies at work
- Assesses the need for job modifications and/or adaptive equipment to reduce the incidence of re-injury
